The K-TORK Advantage !

K-TORK is a TRUE ROTARY valve actuator!  Piston, rack & pinion or scotch-yoke actuator designs convert linear motion to rotary motion by means of cranks, gears or levers.  The strength of K-TORK is its simplicity (one moving part) and NO O-Ring SEAL design.  All piston actuators utilize O-Rings in their design.  It is not a matter of “if they will leak” but rather, “when will they leak”.

  • Three Year Performance Warranty – Guaranteed to perform for 3 years or 2 Million Strokes, whichever comes first (2 million strokes would be 50 cycles per day, every day for 54 years).
  • Integral NAMUR Mounting – Ensures that the limit switches, solenoid valves or positioners of your choice can be easily mounted to K-TORK.
  • Modulating Accuracy – K-TORK actuators, due to LOW FRICTION DESIGN, offer 0.25% resolution & repeatability.  Piston actuators rely on tight-fitting O-ring seals, which require high differential pressure to shift the piston.  This friction results in “hunting” and “over-shoot” of the set point.  Replace globe-body control valves with more economical ¼-turn control valves.
  • Fast Operation – K-TORK actuators have large air inlet ports.  Rack & pinion actuators rely on small air passageways.
  • High Cycle – The DUAL OPPOSED, POLYURETHANE LIP SEALS are abrasion resistant and long-lasting.
  • RETROFIT – To existing valves without removing the valve from the pipeline.
  • Modular Controls – K-TORK’s extensive list of control accessories ensures that the actuator will be fully compatible with ANY existing or proposed control system.  K-TORK actuators will NEVER BE OBSOLETE!.
  • Totally Enclosed – No external link arms, levers or pinch points.  Nothing to corrode.  Easily rebuildable with standard hand tools and basic skills.
