The Filter Magic ® Solution Design.


Filter Magic ® consists of the following components:

1.     Filter Control Consoles
2.     AS-i Data Highway System
3.     Filter Instrumentation
4.     AWWA Standards C540-02 Actuators  and         C 504 Valves
5.     Air Compressor System
6.     Installation
The Filter Magic® Solution utilizes an open architecture for communicating with plant SCADA via Ethernet TPC/IP including Allen-Bradley, Modicon, GE, Siemans and others. Filter Magic offers full operating compatibility with major software programs such as Wonderware/Intouch, Intellution/Fix-Dmacs, Iconics/Genesis, Factory Link and others.

The entire filter control system is shipped as a “kit” following testing at our factory. The console and valves are tested with the AS-I communications for each individual filter system and tagged appropriately for ease of installation. The Owner’s representatives and Plant Operators are encouraged to witness the test and be trained at the factory before shipment. Additional training will be conducted in the field following installation.

Filter Magic ® Solution utilizes only quality components that are recognized as an industry standard. User/ Engineer preferences for specific brands of instruments and valves will be provided if the manufactures will match the 2-year warranty that is a standard for the Filter Magic ® offering. The result has proven to save as much as 40% over an installed conventional filter control system.
